Jackie Brown

Coach Jackie Brown is the most veteran and experienced pitching instructor in Northeast Alabama. He has been giving pitching lessons for the past 23 years. He started in 2000 when his second cousin, Amy Brown, asked for help early in her softball career. Amy went on to play at Jacksonville State and that sparked Mr. Jackie’s passion for helping the pitcher community. In the last 23 years, Mr. Jackie has sent over 20 girls to the next level, including four of those to Division One. 

 

Outside of softball, Coach Jackie Brown is an electrician at Vulcan Materials. He loves fishing and hunting in his free time. He is married to Joyce Brown and has two girls and 2 grandsons. He calls everyone “Knuckle-Head.”
